To me, Easter is a time to share and give, so why not take the chance to bake! Easter is the perfect time to theme your baking, whether you cut out cookies into Easter shapes, create a mini Easter basket onto a cupcake or experimenting with Easter flavours like lemon and carrot.
Here are 5 things to do this Easter!
Go all out with a batch of vanilla cookies shaped in carrots, bunnies or Easter eggs and give them to friends and family. To give your cookies more flavour add, lemon zest, orange zest or chocolate! Decorate them, by putting them into a cellophane bag with a ribbon! To find Easter cookie cutters click the link at the bottom of this post!
Every holiday I go all out and decorate my room to suit the theme, for example for Easter my room is decked out in pastels. Experiment with different room designs, it might be as simple as a change of bed sheets to give your room the holiday flare! Hang pictures or clip polaroids that relates to the holiday and clip them onto your fairy lights. Remember you only get Easter ONCE a year, so go all out!
3. Easter Egg Hunt!
Easter egg hunts are the perfect thing to do on Easter Sunday, they can be for the whole family or with friends! Go shopping and by 15-20 Easter eggs (depends on how many people are in the event). To make it harder hide the eggs in odd places and write clues!
4. Gift Give!
Make something special for someone this Easter, some cost-efficient ideas could be:
5. Watch Easter Movies!
There is nothing better than watching a movie and drinking hot chocolate with marshmallows. Better yet eat chocolate as well! Snuggle up onto the couch and watch an Easter themed movie with your family.
